This year we have the opportunity to send two students to Ecuador in South America and two students to Zimbabwe in Africa. Each of these trips, will open the door of your mind to see and engage how other cultures live in this big world.
I have been to Poland, China, Ghana, Ecuador, India and Greece. My greatest fulfillment of all those trips was the one we took as a Medical Mission Group to Ecuador. It was the greatest 10 days of my life. You were able to go into the different villages and put your medical skills to use and receive such a reason of why you chose the medical field.
Your giving people who have zero medical attention a chance to have a better life. You are healing families that have nowhere else to turn too. Families that need the most basic medical care to just have a normal life. All of this, while working with other Doctors, Nurses and lay people from Compassion Christian Church in Savannah, GA.
My daughter Abbie was going to China with me in 2015 on her first Mission trip in June. Anna, my other daughter had been with me in Ghana, Africa in 2014. Anna had told Abbie all about the trip and seeing all the tigers, elephants and how the people lived in the different villages. Abbie was excited to see a different part of the world.
Abbie’s accident that took her life occurred about 45 days before we were going to China. I can still see how excited she was about taking this trip.
I want YOU to represent Abbie and her spirit of Nursing and traveling into the unknown of a different country. This
will be an opportunity of the lifetime. I promise.
