Outreach Abroad
Continuing Abbie’s devotion
Abbie was committed to helping those less fortunate here at home and around the world. The Abbie Deloach Foundation’s World Outreach is continuing Abbie’s devotion to help others. Abbie’s impact has been felt from China, Poland, Ecuador, Poland, Africa, and India.
Global Focus
Working with Compassion Go, our World Missions have helped to open up new opportunities for women rescued from human trafficking find hope through vocational training centers. In 2018, the Foundation partnered with Compassion Go International and Aatma Vikas to combat poverty through education and opportunity in India.
Bearing Abbie’s Name
Abbie’s Home, a Place of Hope and Healing, is a training center with the primary purpose to restore dignity and self-respect to rehabilitated women from vulnerable situations. Aatma Vikas is aiming to help 500 women and children out of poverty exploitation and abuse by 2020 and train 3,000 community change makers in a vocational program by 2020. Partnering with an organization with big goals like Aatma Vikas mirrors Abbie’s approach to life.
Medical Outreach
Each year Abbie DeLoach Foundation provides scholarships for international medical outreach trips through Compassion Go. Opportunities for outreach abroad have been provided to Nursing Students across Georgia – from Reinhardt University, Georgia Southern, Truett McConnell, Valdosta State to Dalton State. These nurses are receiving hands-on experience while helping families in impoverished nations.
