Co-Hosts Anita Hagin and Frank Sulkowski Will Join Guest Speaker Pastor Ricky Temple at the Luncheon Sponsored by The Umbel Group at Morgan Stanley
The Abbie DeLoach Foundation (ADF) has confirmed Pastor Ricky Temple, senior pastor at Overcoming by Faith Ministries in Savannah, Georgia, as guest speaker at its Annual Scholarship Class Luncheon to be held at the Savannah Golf Club on April 26, 2024. For the second year, ADF welcomes The Umbel Group at Morgan Stanley as its premier luncheon sponsor.
Local media personalities Anita Hagin, publisher of Savannah Magazine, and Frank “The Big Guy” Sulkowski, anchor and reporter at ABC affiliate WJCL, will pair up again as co-hosts to celebrate ADF’s eighth year of providing scholarships to deserving recipients.
The luncheon is ADF’s premier event and fundraiser, and it celebrates the good works of the ADF Scholarship Class of 2024. These scholarship recipients, who will attend with their guests, have demonstrated academic excellence, athletic commitment and/or exemplary service work within their communities. Attendees of the invitation-only event will include members of the community, the DeLoach family and friends of ADF. Doors will open at 11 a.m., and the luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m.
“We appreciate each of our donors, because we are better together in providing more opportunity for the future success of this year’s scholarship class recipients,” stated Jimmy DeLoach Jr., Abbie’s dad and president of ADF. “We are more than thrilled to have Pastor Ricky Temple as our guest speaker. For nearly four decades, he has touched lives around the world in person and through radio and television. The insights he will share are sure to be encouraging to all who hear him.”
Pastor Temple looks forward to addressing this year’s scholarship recipients. “I admire the hard work and dedication that Jimmy and the foundation have shown for young people who want to advance professionally and make a difference in the lives of others,” said Pastor Temple. “This is the kind of program we should all support and celebrate.”
